Thomas and Milliken is located on the tip of Northern Michigan in beautiful Leelanau County. With over 38 years of woodworking experience we have evolved into a leader in the industry of custom doors, stair parts, windows and moldings.

For residential projects we work closely with the homeowner, architect and builder. We can produce any type of moulding, in any quantity and species.

Our commercial projects ranging from resorts, offices, courthouses, churches, restaurants, libraries and museums. Once again our sales staff works closely with each builder, architect, and designer to ensure top quality and customer satisfaction.

Our equipment is the latest in woodworking technology ranging from our CNC Router and 6 head molders to our new door hanging operation. Along with this we pride ourselves in making sure every door, stair part and molding you order is closely inspected. With over over 2000 knife patterns in stock we can create and match any trim pattern.

We specialize in curved trim such as rounds, arches, and ovals. This can be applied to windows, entry areas and doors. Whatever yours needs, Thomas and Milliken Millwork is here to serve you and help make your building experience enjoyable.

Andy Thomas started Thomas and Milliken Millwork back in 1977 with his wife Gloria.  Since then they have seen the business develop and evolve into the number one millshop in Northern Michigan.  Andy comes from a long line of workworkers dating back to his great-grandfather who built many of the homes in Northport.  "Woodworking is in my blood.  I started out of college making autoharps in my parents basement.  That quickly morphed into patenting a line of wood outdoor furniture.  From there it's history.  We now sell our products around to U.S. and currently are working with the Hotel Kimpton project on Grand Cayman island. We are fortunate in that we have great employees who work hard and with great attention to detail."  The road up to Northport, M22, has just been voted the most scenic fall color tour route in the country.  So make the beautiful drive up to Northport and meet Andy or email him andy@tmmillwork.com.

              Kathy Erhardt

I've been with Thomas & Milliken for over 15 years.  As office manager I wear many hats, which can make my job both interesting and challenging.

I came to Thomas & Milliken after working 12 years with another county manufacturing company that relocated to North Carolina.

I am very happy that I joined the Thomas & Milliken family.

I have been married to Al for over 35 years and we reside in Lake Leelanau where we raised our three daughters. We enjoy camping and traveling to South Dokta to visit our one daughter and husband.  You can contact kathy at kathy@tmmillwork.com.
