In 1999 I started out in this business as sales support, coordinator for service & warranty as well as Andersen Window direct van orders.  I didn’t even know what a sash was, let alone how many other parts made up a window.  It was an interesting learning experience to say the least, considering my background was in the food service industry.  With the help of a few key people, I quickly learned what I needed to become successful.  I took every opportunity to listen and learn as much as possible from the sales staff, and eventually moved into sales about 4 years ago.

In the midst of learning about windows and doors, I also decided it was time to further my education, hopefully open a few more doors for myself and teach my kids that you’re never too old to go back to school.  I graduated from Davenport University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  I love being able to not only help our sales staff and customers, but keep our showroom running smoothly.

I’ve been married to my husband Albert for 21 years.  We have three wonderful children and when we are not playing taxi cab for them, we love spending time biking and traveling as often as possible to car shows. Call or email peggy@tmmillwork.com

Jon Basile is an artist, designer, builder, and Michigan native.  He left town to pursue an education in industrial design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY and eventually found his way to the Pacific Northwest looking for big mountains, slopes to ski and rocks to climb. For 10 years he owned/operated Basile’s Workshop in McMinnville, Oregon, specializing in wood windows, doors and custom design and fabrication.

Jon returned to Michigan in January 2022 and started with Thomas and Milliken in the Northport workshop. In November,  he joined the team in Petoskey to help with the ever-increasing demand. He now lives on a farm with his wife, two Great Pyrenees dogs, two cats and seven sheep. Email Jon@tmmillwork.com
